Hello everyone!!
I hope everything is going well for you and everyone you know!

Well, my last post was during the pre-COVID-19 times.
After not writing anything for nearly 2.5 years, I’ve decided to dust off my blog. So, let’s begin with a funny one!

Sometimes, nothing beats the solace of your own company. And interestingly, some of our most unusual behavior happens when we’re alone. It’s a completely judgment-free zone—no pressure to show off, no unmet expectations, no strange looks as you spew nonsense into the void. In fact, what we do is so random, we don’t really talk about it. Ever. Not even in a game of truth or dare. And you know what? It’s probably better that way. 😂

So go ahead, take off your goodie-goodie masks for the next few minutes and let’s be raw, real, and brutally honest—with no one but ourselves. Get ready to grin, as you realize that when it comes to things we do but won’t admit, we’re all the same. 😋😀

1. Cringing at your own voice
That moment when you hear yourself in a voice note and instantly feel the need to apologize to everyone you’ve ever spoken to. 😁

*Nah… I don’t sound like this when I have fake arguments in my head.*

2. Eavesdropping on strangers’ conversations
If not, please stop lying to yourself. 😬
If you’ve ever taken mass transit, stood in a crowded café, or just existed near people, you’ve “accidentally” overheard something and mentally given your opinion.

*Yes! Those shoes don’t look good*
Worse is when you see them again and secretly want a follow-up:

*So… did you return the ugly shoes?*

3. Talking to yourself
Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice.
To all those times you practiced an Oscar speech in your head but blurted out  *I’m a potato* in real life. Or when you reenacted that embarrassing moment when you asked someone for directions… to the place you were already standing at.
(Cue dramatic facepalm as you realize Google Maps was invented for this very reason.)

4. Crazy home-alone behavior
Turning on all the lights and leaving the TV on just in case a burglar gets scared off by “Friends” reruns.
“Yes, because clearly, no thief ever strikes when there’s light and noise!” 😆

For that matter, when you sped up the stairs **nearly at speed of light** after watching a horror movie and were terrified to look back because your third eye kept telling you that someone was behind you with a hammer😅.

5. Surviving all those boring office meetings

On numerous occasions during meetings, you thought to yourself, “This could have been an email,” but kept a straight face.
Every time your boss calls a series of meetings back to back, expects you to attend all of them but still inquires about the status of the assigned task
Thinking ** Seriously?? The only progress I made was sitting through a vortex of meetings as my brain melted**  but replied with an On it which otherwise meant  Let me get some work done before you convene another meeting 😅”

6. No matter how old you are, you would have probably stalked someone you like online while pretending to have trouble remembering their names. Oh! Come-on. Gone through an Instagram black hole and ended up on a pic from 2018 belonging to your friend’s first cousin*😁. On a more serious note, I’m not referring to the pervs who stalk creepily.

7. All those times during College, When you  Co-authored most of your friends’ texts with her/his crush and when you are meeting him/her for the first time, they are like ” Nice meeting you for the first time…”  *Well, Where do I start now😆…”*

8. Moments when we re-read the conversations we had with someone we fancy and behaved like a total nutcase just to get that tingly feeling back. *laughing sheepishly*

9. You would all have pretended not to know curse words in front of your parents, no matter how old you were. Even if someone else is cursing on the street or on television, you maintain a neutral expression while subtly eavesdropping on their conversation only to discuss the meaning of everything in detail with your friends later😃. * Nah, I don’t do that 😜*

10.  When we all pretended to read in our rooms to avoid having to deal with the yammering relative outside in our living room who suddenly starts talking about your fictitious husband and children.
* Hang on a minute! Can you repeat your name?*

There are some strange quirks that no one is immune to.  **If you are an exception, Alert!! you might be a sociopath…Just Kidding 😀**.  Feel free to rant in the judgement-free comments section if you have done anything similar. Stop Grinning and Start Speaking! Bye, Until Next Time!

  4. Everything sounds familiar for sure. But the 4th one applies a lot 😂More than horror movies snake movies fit well there. There were times when I never failed to check under my bed for snakes before getting down. Always keeping my legs over the chair to save myself from potential snake bites.
